Kings is played with a standard deck of 52 playing cards. With the deck adding one less King than players (i.e. 9 player game would have 8 Kings etc.). All cards are spread out face down in a circle around an empty pitcher (preferably a gallon). One man starts by drawing a card and follows the rules of that card and than the player to his left is next. Direction of play can be altered by certain cards. When a King is drawn the person who has picked it pours as much beer from his current beer into the middle pitcher however he is then eliminated. The man who draws the final King will be in 2nd place but will have the privlege of drinking the pitcher.
